Cosy Cabins Terms and Conditions

1. Definitions

• Supplier: Refers to Cosy Cabins.
• Customer: The individual or entity entering into the Agreement.
• Building: The wooden structure described in the Agreement.

2. Price
The price for the building is outlined in the Agreement. Any changes requested by the customer after the Agreement is finalized—such as modifications to specifications, quantities, or delivery details—may result in a price adjustment by the supplier.

3. Payment

• A 50% non-refundable deposit is required when the Agreement is finalised to initiate the order.
• The remaining balance is due before the day of delivery.

4. Ownership
The supplier retains ownership of the building until full payment is received. If payments are overdue, the supplier reserves the right to repossess the building and resell it.

5. Delivery

• Delivery dates are estimates and not guaranteed.
• The supplier is not liable for any damages caused by delivery delays.
• The customer is responsible for providing clear site access and preparing the site for delivery.
• If poor access prevents delivery, additional costs may apply, and delivery may be rescheduled.

6. Warranties

• A 10-year warranty applies to insulated and treated cabins. Single-skin cabins have no warranty.
• Unauthorized relocation or modifications void the warranty.
• The customer must maintain the building according to supplier guidelines to preserve the warranty.

7. Measurements
All measurements provided are external dimensions and may differ from internal measurements after completion.

8. Maintenance
Customers must seal the building with outdoor silicon and treat it with a quality wood treatment within four weeks of completion and as recommended thereafter.

9. Exclusions

• The supplier is not liable for delays or issues caused by unprepared sites or external factors.
• Customers are responsible for ensuring the site is ready for installation.

10. Permissions
It is the customer’s responsibility to secure any necessary permissions, such as local authority planning approvals.

11. Additional Works

• Extra work beyond the agreed specifications is subject to additional charges.
• Electrical and plumbing work done by third parties is not covered by the supplier’s guarantee.

12. Referrals
Referrals to third-party contractors are provided as a courtesy. The supplier is not liable for their services.

13. Returns
Returns are not accepted.

14. Lead Time
Lead times are estimates and may extend up to 12 weeks or longer during busy periods.

15. Cabin Storage

• Customers must be ready to accept delivery within one week of notification.
• Storage fees apply for delayed deliveries: €100 per week for cabins under 25 sq. meters, €150 for larger cabins.

16. Foundation Pricing
If the site is not level or stable, additional charges of €15 per sq. meter may apply, or the foundation service may be declined.

17. Insulation
Internal insulation reduces internal space; measurements should be confirmed post-installation.

18. Product Finishing
Buildings require sanding, filling, painting, and sealing for final finishing.
